We're in Ohio!

Yes, it's crazy, but we are back in Ohio...for a couple of days. Joe has an eye check-up in town tomorrow morning, so we decided to take a drive and tag along with him. We left bright and early at 6:00am in hopes Annika would sleep for the first half of the drive, but she was alert the entire trip and was a very good little trooper. We hit some rain, about 1 1/2 hours worth, but it wasn't bad considering we were expecting it the entire trip. We made a couple of stops to eat and stretch our legs a little...it's a vacation so we took our time and arrived at WPAFB around 3:45. Tomorrow Joe has his appointment first thing in the morning, and then we plan on spending the rest of the day with Austin (he's on spring break and has no school). Thursday we are off to Kentucky until Sunday morning. Yea!!! It's a beautiful time of year for a road trip with all the trees and flowers in full bloom.
