The afternoon provided its own little pleasures. Annika played with her dolls, played outside, and then took a bath. Annika was so excited to play in the bath she crawled in before taking off any of her clothes. She is sooooo fast! I love my angel child more each day. Additionally, the new Vita Mix blender I ordered online Monday arrived today. Talk about a surprisingly quick delivery. It also came with a free 2 quart sauce pan. For dinner I dry steamed broccoli in the sauce pan. I had never heard of dry steaming before, but you just add your veggies, put the lid on, and cook for 10 minutes. The broccoli turned out really good. I used the mixer to make strawberry ice cream for dessert. Yummy!!!! It came with a cooking school video that teaches you everything you can do with the mixer. I can't wait to watch it later tonight with Joe.
You can only see the pink hat of the doll, but Annika has just served it a sippy cup, bottle, and banana chips in a little pot.
