Around The House

I know I've been bad keeping up with our blog, but I've been so lazy this summer. Here are some random pictures of Annika around the house doing random things.

Annika made a bed in our kitchen and wanted to take a nap on the floor. She kept trying to get the dogs to play along with her, but they just seemed confused.

At least one of them is comfortable. This is a pretty regular scene at our house. You would think by now the dog would keep his distance.

Annika loves wearing my glasses, but has yet to ever put them on the correct way by herself.

One day I put Annika's hair in a little pony tail on the top of her head. She looked so much older and perfectly elegant I almost cried.

How did you grow up so fast Annika? What will I think when you really are grown up?

Joe took Annika to a little festival they had at the Amish Farmer's Market in Annapolis. Annika got her first face painting...a little star. They also went on a horse pulled wagon and ate fresh pork sandwiches from a pig roasting in the parking lot. She came home with a balloon and lots of smiles.

Annika loved playing with Emily and Ian when they came over. They mainly played house downstairs in the basement, but they also made time for dress up.

This video is so funny. I shouldn't have said anything to her because as soon as I did she clammed up. But funny none the less.

Joe was watching a Dave Koz video one morning before church. When Annika got out of the bath she wanted to watch too. She was really getting into it before I got the camera out, of course, but you can still see her get a little into it here.
