Christmas Day!

This year was Annika's first Christmas that she was really into. Her excitement and happiness made Christmas extra special for us. Outside it rained all day and melted most of our pretty white snow away, but inside our happy little home we had a cozy Christmas. The only thing that could have made it better would have been if Austin could have spent it with us.

Merry Christmas, Annika. What she woke up to.
Excited, but not 100% sure what's going on yet.
Wow!
The first thing Annika wanted to do was jump on her new trampoline. This has provided for lots of great exercise since Christmas.

Among other things, Annika got a chef set from her cousin Max.
After opening her book from her cousin Catherine, Annika needed a break from opening presents to read it.
Aunt Heather and Uncle David got Annika some little puppets which she loves.
Our neighbors were so good to us. They got Annika a Little People Fairy Tree, our baby boy to be a cute outfit, and our family a big box of chocolate. It feels good having thoughtful neighbors.
Annika loved the Dairy Queen ice cream toys I got from the dollar spot at Target! I hope she's always this easy (and inexpensive) to make happy.
Annika and her new monkey. She is really getting into stuffed animals lately.
