Today we read about the Last Supper & First Sacrament, Jesus washing his disciples feet, His time in the Garden of Gethsemane, and His betrayal by Judas. To celebrate passover as Jesus did with his disciples, we dressed like during Jesus' day, and ate food he could have eaten.
The kids all dressed up.

Annika loved dressing like this. Last year she thought she was Mary. This year she understood she was dressed like Jesus' days.

Our yummy spread: Celery, salad, artichoke, avocado, cucumber, stuffed grape leaves, lentil soup, watermelon, dates and assorted dried fruit, nuts, humus, taboula, olives, flat bread, manna bread, hard boiled eggs, falafel, and grape juice to wash it all down. Like I said, it was a meal for a King.
