Happy Mother's Day

Motherhood - A priceless and eternal gift.

My mother's day ended up being a weekend event. Yesterday Annika came home from Music Together carrying this big arrangement of flowers. She was so cute as she said "Mama, these are for you!" What a great way to start the day!
My beautiful flowers!
That evening we saw a performance at the visitor center at the DC Temple. Let's just say it was more of an adult performance than a kid friendly one. I was a little frustrated that we brought the kids until after the program...
My precious gifts!
When we exited the theater and went up the stairs Annika excitedly said, "This place is wonderful! Jesus is here!" Then she ran over to the Christus statue and sat down. It's amazing what your kids will teach you. I instantly realized even though they probably had no idea what the performance was about, they were in the right place and I'm sure felt the Spirit.
The center of our family.
After church on Sunday we had a super yummy dinner! Annika was our little princess. I am so blessed to have my kids!
A dinner filled with love!
And I am so blessed to have had such a wonderful Mother myself. I miss her so much! I give credit to my Mother for the example she set for me how to be a Mom.
Beloved Mother.

Wow, looks like you had a great Mother's Day! I can't believe how big Annika is getting. I guess I still picture her as a little toddler.
