A Small Glimpse of Our Day Today!

Some days feel like several rolled into one. This morning I took the kids for a walk around the lake while Joe went to the doctors and got a huge cast on his broken pinkie finger. Sometimes Joe forgets his age, and unfortunately this time his baby finger paid the price with a small but awkward fracture.

Brayden had a blast playing in Annika's booster seat for the car.

Annika felt the perfect outfit for 90+ degree weather was pink tights with her green tee shirt and brown sneakers.

It was so hot and humid I let the kids play in the sprinklers. Brayden looked so cute in his daddy's hat!

Annika also did some artwork on a medium other than paper.

Right after taking this picture Annika deleted all the pictures on the camera, including Austin's graduation pictures and our weekend in Ohio. Thanks to some cool thinking on Dad's part all the pictures were recovered on the laptop and Annika was spared a major guilt trip from mom and dad.
