Valentine's Day

This was a pretty low key Valentine's Anniversary day for us, but it ended up being so enjoyable. Joe bought pretty red roses and made yummy breakfast. We spent the morning shopping in Annapolis, went out for Mexican food for lunch (something we could still enjoy with limited taste thanks to colds and allergies we've been battling for more than a month, not to mention we are just so happy to live in an area where real Mexican food exists, because it sure didn't exist in Ohio), made Valentine cards with Annika in the evening, and then watched Madagascar 2. We all enjoyed our day together as a family and there was definitely a lot of love.

So pretty, I just love flowers. Even after almost a week the roses still look lovely.Annika making her Valentine cards.
Annika loves doing crafts, something we should do more often with her. She takes it very seriously and concentrates hard, then she is so proud when we hang it up.

Annika was happy to display her card.

Look at you guys--all crafty! I'm sure Annika has changed so much in the last few months. She looks a lot older. The age difference between her and Dallin (really only three months) seems like less and less now.
