The other night we were watching Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat when out of the blue Annika asked, "Where's Mary?" She is so observant.
Last night I made Shepherd Pie for dinner and before I put it in the oven Annika took a bunch of garlic cloves and decorated the top of the pie with it. I asked what she was doing and she said she made a castle.
After dinner she wanted to watch Snow White. She always lets you know when the evil queen is on by running out of the room and saying, "This is scary." Last night when Snow White was running away from the queen through the forest, Annika announce, "The animals are saving Snow White."
The workings of a three year old mind never ceases to amaze me.
