Summer is Officially Here!

School is out and summer is here!!! This weekend we went to Ohio for Austin's graduation. It was a bittersweet occasion for Joe. His baby boy is all grown up and ready to embark on a new adventure called college. Joe is so proud of Austin and all his accomplishments.

Annika wants to be just like her big brother, Austin! They are so sweet together.

Joe, Annika, and his family went to a little gathering at Austin's after the graduation while I stayed at the hotel with Brayden who took a much needed 4 hour nap. After they got back Joe took the kids swimming in the hotel pool. The kids had a blast!

The next day with took the family to the Air Force Museum.

Joe was ducking under some of the wings, so naturally Annika was careful not to hit her head either.

Aunt Cindy put a coin in the wishing well for Annika. She loved watching the coins spin around as they went around the well and into the bottom of the well. She must have insisted we do it 3 or 4 times before we could move on to the exhibits in the museum.

Brayden loved Austin! Austin must have been relieved to have Brayden walking instead of carrying him around.

The exhaustion of our fast weekend caught up a couple of days later and I found everyone, the dog included, sleeping on the floor in front of a movie.
