Williamsburg or Bust!

We took a little trip down to Williamsburg in June. I've been there twice before and really enjoyed it. This trip was such a bust. Turns out the highlight for Annika was dressing up. Brayden got super sick the first day and had a bad fever. We ended up having to take him to the doctors and he tested positive for strep throat. The weather was 100+ degrees each day, making it unbearably hot outside. Annika did enjoy swimming each day with Joe while I stayed with Brayden as he rested. We also went on a drive to Norfolk and saw the movie Cars 2, not nearly as good as the first movie.

Annika dressed as a Colonial Girl.
Playing a game in a courtyard. She actually got the wheel rolling with the stick a couple of times.
Coloring a picture of George Washington. She kept saying he was Joseph Smith.
Because Brayden was sick and we didn't want to take him out too much, we went on a drive to Norfolk where we walked along the bay and saw the battleships.
This was a Russian ship and had sailors dressed in swimsuits on board it. It seemed kind of strange to see them on board out of uniform. Maybe our sailors do that too, but I've never seen it.
