In the Spirit of Thanksgiving

A video worth watching.

What a great message!

What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for:
My family; especially my husband!
The gospel which helps us grow and brings our family closer together.
The Atonement which allows me to be a better person tomorrow and each sequential day.
Joseph's constant support.
Being a stay-at-home mom.
Annika's sweet spirit.
The sweetest hugs and kisses from Annika.
Our baby boy who will soon be with us.
My family's health.
Friends who lift me up.
The country I live in.
The beautiful fall colors.
Crisp, fresh air.
The warm sunshine.
A relaxing bubble bath.
A good book.
Too many things to list.
And once again, my family.

Happy Thanksgiving you all!

We Are Thankful for Family Home Evening!

The family home evening before Thanksgiving we made a blessing tree. Our lesson was on how Heavenly Father blesses us, and then we wrote down our blessings from Heavenly Father on the leaves of the tree. Some blessings Annika was thankful for: watermelon, yellow, water, happy birthday, her dogs, and her family. The simple life of a two year old.

We are thankful for our blessings!

We Are Thankful for Friends!

Our friends came over to share Thanksgiving with us. They were having Thanksgiving the following day with some friends, but took pity on us and joined us for ours too. Abbi is Annika's favorite person in the world, so you can imagine she had a great day!

Abbi & Annika
Why I didn't take more, or even a better photo I don't know. Here's Joe with the Topp family minus Abbi who is eating at the kid table with Annika.

A nice Thanksgiving dinner with friends.
Eli is such a good little boy. Annika knows she is getting a baby brother like Abbi, and she's told me that she will have a brother Eli. I think she's still confused.

Eli made pretty good pals with Joe.
