Pumpkin Carving & Mount Vernon

Smiling Pumpkin
Throughout our neighborhood people have really gotten into the spirit of Halloween. Annika's always commenting on the smiling pumpkins. Last night Joe bought a big pumpkin, and today after church we all took turns carving it. Thank you Joe for putting together a fun family activity!

Annika's first carved pumpkin. We'll put a real candle in this weekend instead of the flashlight.
Mount Vernon
On Saturday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and spent the afternoon at Mt. Vernon. Before we left we all went to Music Together with Annika which seemed to really please her. Sense Brayden's been born Joe usually takes her on his own. Upon arriving at Mt. Vernon we discovered there was a family fall festival at the estate. The weather and day couldn't of been more perfect!
Couldn't help snap a shot of Brayden looking too cute as we get ready to leave for Mt. Vernon.

Brayden loves his Aunt Kari. By the way, thanks for lugging our little man around, Aunt Kari. You definitely got a workout.

Brayden enjoying the weather. Two ladies walked up to him when he was sitting here and went crazy over him. She had to snap a picture of how cute he was. Kind of strange, but very flattering. He is sweet!
