Aunt Kari has Arrived! D.C. Here We Come!
The Supreme Court
Aunt Kari came Saturday evening on the weekend of our move. Boy was she a huge help with the kids!!!! On Tuesday we took a break from the move to go to the Supreme Court.

For lunch we sat at a bench outside the Capital Building across the street. It's obvious a lot of other people do this too and the squirrels aren't afraid to help themselves to some of your lunch.

On Wednesday evening Joe did a final walk-through with our landlords and we were officially done with our move...not unpacking. What a hard move. Kari gave us another break on Thursday as we took a tour of the Capital Building.

After Congress we went to the Library of Congress. Brayden had a meltdown, so we kind of had to do a self-guided tour. So beautiful inside!

Kennedy Center
On Friday afternoon we took a tour of the Kennedy Center. Such a fascinating tour.

New Digs!
It took a couple of weeks for things to settle down enough for us to get the internet/phone/cable. This was the only spot in the house Kari could find a random internet connection from one of the neighbors.
